New WAIS Design Implemented. Final Suggestions? (Roman Zhovtulya, USA, 12/22/14 6:55 am)Dear WAIS Community:
Thank you for your input on the new WAIS design a while back. After months of working on dozens of designs, new logos, watermark features, etc., we are ready to present the final design implementation. Click here:

The design follows the best principles of Responsive Web (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design ), which means self-optimizes for the best viewing experience, depending on the type of the device (cell phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, etc), used to access it.
We would appreciate your feedback (just the design/look-and-feel, features--some links might not work yet) before we finally replace the old web design with the new one.
Please try viewing the link above specifically on mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.), to fully appreciate the power of responsive design.
JE comments: I'm very excited about the new WAISworld, which we hope to launch by the New Year. A big thanks to WAIS IT Director Roman Zhovtulya and his international team of developers. One of our goals was to make our website mobile-friendly, as it hasn't been easy with the old webpage to read WAIS content on a tiny screen. I'm also looking forward to playing with the "sliding image" feature at the top of the new page, which will allow us to highlight some of the best WAIS photos.
Give it a test-drive, and send me your thoughts.
