Message from Les's Robinson's Family (John Eipper, USA, 10/15/12 10:01 am)

I received this note from Les Robinson's daughter, Dana Russell, which I'd like to share with WAISdom:

Dear John and WAIS Members,

Your thoughtful gift of flowers was so beautiful! Thank you for sending such a magnificent bouquet to the Chapel; we have enjoyed their aroma and beauty this week.

Thank you, also, so much for posting such a beautiful tribute to our Dad and for opening up the WAIS website for members to share their memories. We have been overwhelmed with warmth and pride as we have read the posts shared about Dad. We can see that he was part of a thoughtful and open-minded group of people whose dedication to world affairs exhibits the best in all of us.

Please share this thank you with your membership. Their thoughts and condolences helped us tremendously through this trying week.

Most sincerely,

The Robinson Girls (Sheryl Hanson, Janet Mayer, Karey Harty, Laura Lukasko, Barbara Whiteside, and Dana Russell)

JE comments: I only wish I could have made the trip to Stockton for the Memorial Service/Celebration. Don't forget, WAIS sistren and brethren, that we have a "In Memory of Les Robinson" page on our website. Please send any tributes (or classic LR posts) you'd like me to include.

My thanks to Les's six daughters for keeping us informed during this sad time. Your father touched our lives, and we will remember him always.
