Once more I must apologize. I received an e-mail from Johnson.L.B (johnson@?) complaining that I had failed to mention that he had given instructions that his library should give his complete record, warts and all, and that the library had respected his injunction. When I asked him about the spittoon, I could not make out his reply because someone was making a loud noise. I could not tell if they were shushing or applauding him. An important point. In any case, I apologize.
