WAIS Wednesday 2022: November 30th (John Eipper, USA, 11/21/22 4:19 am)

This year's WAIS Wednesday is November 30th, nine days hence. WAIS Wednesday (WW), is the time-honored tradition of acknowledging our favorite online scholarly Forum with a donation on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving.

My fundraising efforts in 2022 have so far been lackadaisical--or how should I describe them? Nonchalant? Cavalier? Insouciant? WAIS is all about forgiveness and redemption, so I humbly ask the membership to erase my shame. How about a goal of ten new donors by the end of November?

Insouciance stops now, and here's how:

1. Via check (payable to WAIS) c/o John Eipper, Goldsmith Center, Adrian College, Adrian Michigan 49221 USA

2. PayPal to donate@waisworld.org

I ask (again, humbly) for $100 from colleagues who can afford it, but no amount is too small--or too large. As always, your donation is tax-deductible in the US.

This Thanksgiving season, please remember the joy and intellectual enrichment you receive from WAIS. Since our founding in 1965 we've run the Forum on a shoestring--and with no ads!  But there are expenses. Don't you want to ensure WAISdom's vitality for the next 57 years?  It's not WAISly to rely on the "others" to shoulder all the burden.

Many thanks! An updated Honor Roll will appear in the coming days. Peace and light to all.
