World Philosophy Day 2020: A Symposium (Mendo Henriques, Portugal, 11/19/20 3:09 am)

[JE:  Mendo Castro Henriques announces this virtual event at the Catholic University of Lisbon.  My translation:  "In commemoration of World Philosophy Day, which takes place on November 19th (today), we extend an invitation to participate in a Symposium, 'Care and Commitment in Pandemic Times.'  The Symposium will be transmitted via videoconferencing, beginning at 6:00 PM Lisbon/GMT.]

JE comments:  Best of luck this afternoon!  Tune in at the first link above.  I remind interested WAISers that Lisbon is on GMT time, which puts it five hours ahead of the US Eastern time zone.  A question for Mendo Henriques when time permits:  "compromiso" (one s) in Spanish translates as "compromise" and also "commitment."  I chose the latter for the Portuguese "compromisso."  Is this what you had in mind?
