Ross Rogers, Jr. writes_The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang is to be re read with this article"China Hails e Good Nazi and Makes Japan Take Notice". Author Iris Chang was reported to have committed suicide. True? Perhaps? She was researching a book about the Japanese treatment of American and Philippiae prisoners of war in the Philippines, and the Bataan death march. Parallel treatment. It was rumored at the time that she was murdered by someone or a "group" that did not want to have the book completed.
RH: Iris Chang lived close to here and had ties with the Hoover Library. It was reported that she committed suicide. I had not seen the rumor that she may have been the victim of foul play. Since this possibility was not mentioned, I doubt it.
