PostWAIS Interviews (John Eipper, USA, 08/05/04 11:28 am)
Stanford-based "World Association of International Studies" (WAIS) conducts TV interviews at regular intervals with scholars and scientists whose research is related to international studies; all the way from aeronautics to zoology. In these hourlong interviews, they describe their professional careers and explain the relevance of their research to international studies, understood in the broadest sense.
The titles are intended merely to give some idea of the theme of the interview. The original tapes are kept in a special archive. They constitute a rather unique source of much information about the development of universities and of international studies.
