WAIS CONFERENCE ON GLOBALIZATION: Film Record (Ronald Hilton, USA, 08/30/01 8:50 am)

Producer Bill Van Orsdol and his crew worked valiantly during the conference and made over 30 hours of film, which they are now editing. They will be shown over the next few months on Channel 6 at 7 p.m. on Saturdays and at 8:05 p.m. the following Monday on Channel 77. The first, to be shown this Saturday (August 31) will be of the session held on Monday, July 30 at which, after an introduction by Ron Bracewell, President John Hennessy welcomed the conferees. This was followed by the session on history at which Tom Henriksen, Harry Papasotiriou and Anthony D'Agostino spoke. It probably will not be rerun on Monday, because it is Labor Day (a day on which sensible people like me labor harder than ever). However, it will run again on Saturday, September 8 and on Monday September 10.
