PostTwo Years of Trump Presidency (Paul Pitlick, USA, 01/20/19 7:04 am)
I happened to review an old WAIS post of mine (http://waisworld.org/go.jsp?id=02a&objectType=post&o=112142&objectTypeId=84380&topicId=44 ), which was a response by me to Robert Gibbs (I miss his insights!), who had responded to one of my posts.
In my 2nd-to-last-paragraph, I said, "We're now 1 month into the Trump presidency. My observation is that any single random day has produced more nonsensical chaos than the entire 8 years of the Obama administration. That is only a slight exaggeration.” At the two-year point, I wish that wasn’t still true!
JE comments: When chaos is the norm, is it still chaos? The only comfort is, we're halfway through, and the sky hasn't fallen--yet.
