PostUS to Withdraw from UNHRC? (Eugenio Battaglia, Italy, 06/18/18 5:36 am)
The US had already voided its contributions to UNESCO since 2011 and retired from that organization on 31 December 2017.
Now it has been reported by Reuters that the US will also withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council, following the declaration of Israeli Defense Minister Lieberman on 17 May and Nikki Haley's declarations of last year.
Considering that most of the US foreign policy is decided by Israel and its US lobby, the US should consider saving a lot of money and troubles by abolishing the presidential elections and simply installing a viceroy nominated by Israel.
JE comments: Eugenio's modest proposal will ruffle a lot of feathers, but he is undoubtedly not alone in believing that the Israeli tail wags the American dog. Wasn't UNESCO's "anti-Israel bias" the principal justification for the US withdrawal from that body? And this happened under Obama.
