A New Prius (Istvan Simon, USA, 12/16/17 4:17 am)

I drive a Toyota Prius Prime, a 2017 model. I charge its batteries with solar energy for I have solar panels on my roof. Thus I drive most of the time with renewable energy, with the energy of the sun.

I have driven my Prius Prime for 8,100 miles so far, and on average I get 143 miles per gallon of gasoline. If I drive only around town, I get infinite mileage because in that case my Prius Prime is an electric vehicle.

I am doing all I can to do my part in reducing my carbon footprint and save this planet for my children, grandchild and your children as well. I urge you to do the same. Climate change is a big problem that threatens the survival of mankind on Earth. We have a president who does not understand this, but on Tuesday he got another message that his presidency is almost over. I refer of course to the upset victory in Alabama of Democrat Doug Jones and the monumental loss of child molester, disgusting lying holier-than-thou Bible thumper, homophobic, racist bigot and imbecile Roy Moore.

JE comments:  Roy Moore is still refusing to concede, preferring instead to let God decide.  I'm not sure if God does elections, but the people of Alabama have certainly spoken.

Congrats on the Prius, Istvan.  A question from this Detroiter:  did you consider the all-electric Chevy Bolt?
